About the Role
Are you energetic, reliable, and passionate about cars? Our busy Ford & Isuzu UTE Dealership in Emerald is looking for a motivated Casual Yard Hand to join our team.
In this role, you will be the backbone of our dealership’s presentation. You will ensure our vehicles look their absolute best for our customers and assist with the daily logistics of moving stock. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for casual work in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Vehicle Presentation: Wash, vacuum, and detail display and customer vehicles to dealership standards.
- Logistics & Driving: Safely move vehicles to and from local sublet providers (e.g., window tinters, accessory fitters, detailers).
- Yard Maintenance: Assist in keeping the dealership yard, showroom, and display areas clean, tidy, and well-organized.
- Stock Management: Park and arrange vehicles neatly on the lot to maximize presentation.
What We Are Looking For
- Licence Requirement: A minimum of a valid Australian Automatic Driver’s Licence is required (Manual licence is a plus, but not essential).
- An Eye for Detail: You take pride in your work and notice the little things that make a car look great.
- Reliability: You are punctual, dependable, and can work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physical Fitness: This is an active, hands-on role that involves being on your feet and working outdoors.
