The Ford Focus ST-3 hot hatch has been given a new, limited-run flagship chock full of equipment.
Many of the features in the ST-3 were previously standard in the ST, which lost blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, heated seats and a 10-speaker sound system as part of its 2021 model year update.
Blind-spot and rear cross-traffic alert will again be standard across the ST range, including on the ST-3, from later this year.
New for the ST in Australia is the lighting system, which uses a camera to read the road ahead and actively steer the beam for upcoming bends.
Unique standard equipment in the ST-3 includes:
- Advanced Front Lighting headlights with cornering
- Panoramic sunroof
- 10-speaker B&O Play sound system with subwoofer
- Head-up display
- Heated front seats
- Power front seats with power-adjustable lumbar
Power still comes from a 2.3-litre turbocharged petrol four-cylinder engine with 206kW of power and 420Nm of torque, sent exclusively to the front wheels.
